Psychology

Psychology is defined as the methodical study of behavior and mental processes. Behavior is directly clear and includes things such as talking, eating, and laughing. But a few things of attention to psychologists cannot be directly observed - thoughts, dreaming, and physiological actions such as heart rate. Physiological actions can be studied using medicinal instruments, while thoughts and dreaming can be studied by self-reports. In psychology, behaviors and mental processes are basically interwoven. So as to understand a behavior, we must know a little about additional mental processes- the feeling or emotions that cause the behavior.
